KS3 Literacy

This programme works on strengthening Literacy skills and is especially suitable for children with School Action or School Action Plus status.

Students will work through a variety of exciting, interesting and varying texts, answering questions as they go.

Their knowledge and understanding of language will be developed as well as their awareness of themes in literature and ability to explore.

This programme will also investigate and work on handwriting and can help develop fine motor skills and the qualities of dictation.

This course is flexible and will be tailor-made to an individual after assessment and discussion, on any particularly weak areas. Whether it centres on reading skills, writing skills or comprehension is entirely down to the needs of the tutee.
